MongolZ Wins Silver at Fissure Playground 2

/MONTSAME/. The “Fissure Playground 2” Counter-Strike 2 e-sports tournament took place from
September 12 to 21, 2025, in Belgrade, Republic of Serbia.
National team of Mongolia, The MongolZ,
has secured second place and a prize of USD 230,000 from the tournament’s total
prize pool of USD 1.25 million. Team MongolZ defeated GS2 2:1 in the
quarterfinals and Liquid 2:1 in the semifinals.
However, in the championship match
against the Brazilian team Furia, they played under a “Best of 5” format and
lost 3:2. They were defeated 13:16 in overtime on the Mirage map, won 13:11 on
Inferno, lost 12:16 in overtime on Nuke, won 13:9 on Overpass, and finally lost
13:5 on Dust 2, securing second place.
The 2025 tournament, held for the first time, brought together 16 competing teams.
