Wreaths Laid at the Monument to Marshal Tsedenbal Yumjaa

Ulaanbaatar, September 18, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 109th birth anniversary of Tsedenbal Yumjaa, Hero of the Mongolian People’s Republic, Hero of Labour, and distinguished statesman and social figure, was marked on September 17, 2025.
On this occasion, a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the monument to Marshal Tsedenbal Yumjaa. The event was attended by political and social leaders, scholars and researchers, students and young people, representatives of the public, as well as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia.
During the ceremony, the Secretary-General of the Mongolian People’s Party, Sodbaatar Yangug stated, “This is a day when we honour the revered memory of the late Tsedenbal, a man who devoted his entire life to the independence and progress of our country, who helped shape not only the history of our Party but also that of Mongolia as a whole, and whose legacy embodies the pride and gratitude of our people. As the leader of our Party and our State for more than 40 years, Tsedenbal not only consolidated Mongolia’s independence but also laid the solid foundations for modern education, healthcare, science, industry, and agriculture.”
As part of the wreath-laying ceremony commemorating the 109th anniversary of his birth, the "Tsedenbal Academy" also presented its Honorary Awards to several distinguished individuals.
