U15 Basketball team claims silver at FIBA Skills Challenge 2021

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolian U15 Basketball boys’ team won a silver medal at FIBA Skills Challenge 2021, which was remotely held between October 14 and October 27.
In the tournament in which U15 athletes from 105 countries competed, the team advanced to the finals of the challenge two years in a row as a result of their outstanding performance this year.
After their dominant performances in their games against the teams of Argentina, Albani, Belarus, Madagascar, Puerto Rico, and Bulgaria, the Mongolian team faced the Israeli team in the grand finals where they lost with the final score of 107:108.
As for the girls’ team, they did not manage to secure a medal after losing to the teams of Madagascar and Israel.
