Total of 134 Mongolian Athletes Compete in 20 Sports at 3rd Asian Youth Games

Ulaanbaatar, October 23, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Third
Asian Youth Games, returning after a 12-year hiatus under the auspices of the
Olympic Council of Asia, officially opened on October 22, 2025, in Manama, the capital
city of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
At these
games, more than 4,000
athletes from 45 Asian National Olympic Committees will compete over the next
10 days, showcasing their speed, agility, ability, and strength. From Mongolia,
a total of 134 athletes will compete in 20 sports disciplines under the
guidance of 43 coaches.
During the opening ceremony, Mongolia’s national flag was carried by Emujin Batbayar, captain of the national youth team and basketball player, and volleyball player Anand Tsend-Ochir. The Secretary General of the Mongolian Olympic Committee, Badar-Uugan Enkhbat, and Executive Board member of the Olympic Committee, Amarsanaa Chinbat, led the Mongolian National team in the opening ceremony.
