Ts.Tsogtbaatar wins second bronze medal for Mongolia at Tokyo Olympics

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On July 26, IM Ts.Tsogtbaatar came out victorious over Canadian judoka Arthur Margelidon, grabbing the bronze medal in the men’s 73 kg weight class at the Tokyo Summer Olympics.
In his first match in the tournament, he defeated Mamadou Samba of Guinea with an ippon. Following his victory over Cedric Bessi of Monaco and Akil Gjakova of Kosovo with a waza-ari in the next two matches, he was defeated by three-time World Champion, Japanese judoka Shohei Ono in the semifinal who went on to claim the gold medal.
With his victory over Canadian judoka Arthur Margelidon with an ippon in the bronze medal match, he has won the second bronze medal for Mongolia.
