Mongolia taekwondo competitors claim medals

Mongolian taekwondo team grabbed two gold, eight silver and one bronze medals
at the XXI ITF Taekwon-do World Championships 2019, held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria
on August 24-30.
Taekwondo athlete
N.Gerelmaa became a champion in the 68kg event. She also won silver medals in
board breaking and patterns. Athlete Chantsal won a bronze medal in women’s
-80kg.
Moreover, Ts.Davaasuren
grabbed a silver medal in men’s -80kg. In the board breaking, U.Gantumur,
J.Battulga, M.Turbayar and K.Seitkhan scored five, receiving silver medal.
International
master of martial arts U.Gantumur competed in sparring and won a gold medal,
which is the first time in men’s taekwondo of Mongolia.
