Mongolian archers’ training in Japan to commence next week

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Last year, President of Mongolian Archery Association (MAA) P.Tsagaan and Mayor of Japan's Okazaki city Yasuhiro Uchida signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on holding three joint training for Mongolian and Japanese archers in Japan prior to Tokyo 2020.

As the first joint training will begin next week, MAA President P.Tsagaan on February 12, met with representative of Okazaki city M.Kitagawa  to talk on the training.

At the meeting, Mr. M.Kitagawa highlighted, “Pursuant to the memorandum, our side will fully cover the expenses for the Mongolian archers' training including their insurance.” For his part, the MAA President expressed hope that the joint training would be fruitful and thanked Mr. Yasuhiro Uchida for the opportunity.

The Mongolian archers under the leadership of coach Yu.Ganzorig will compete at the Asia Cup in Thailand after their 18-day training in Japan.
