Mongolia to be Promoted in Vietnam through the Vietnam News Agency

Ulaanbaatar, April 9, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Socialist Republic of Korea Sereejav Jigjee met with Director General of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA) Vu Viet Trang on April 2, 2024.
At the meeting, the two
sides exchanged views on opportunities to expand collaboration in journalism,
promote Mongolia in Vietnam in light of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic
relations between the two countries this year, and promote the values of
Mongolia-Vietnam traditionally friendly relation to the younger generation.
Director General of the
Vietnam News Agency Vu Viet Trang noted that the VNA, as a member of the
Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies, has been actively cooperating with
MONTSAME Mongolian National News Agency. Ms. Vu Viet Trang expressed eagerness
to cooperate in news sharing and the staff exchange between the two agencies in
the future. During
the 52nd OANA Executive Board Meeting held last March,
the Directors General of the two news agencies met and agreed to restore
the staff exchange program, which was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Furthermore, the two sides agreed to cooperate in promoting Mongolia in Vietnam under the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. This includes publicizing Mongolia through photo information that reflects Mongolia's culture and natural beauty.
