President Khurelsukh Congratulates Mongolian 3x3 Basketball Teams

Ulaanbaatar, April 8, 2024. /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa received coaches and players of Mongolian National 3x3 Men’s and Women’s Teams on April 5, 2024.
The Mongolian teams earned a twin bronze medal at the FIBA Asia Cup 2024 organized in Singapore on March 27-31, 2024.
President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa congratulated the Mongolian 3x3 basketball athletes and team members for their success at the Asian Cup, elevating Mongolia's reputation on the international stage. President Khurelsukh expressed gratitude to the National Teams on behalf of the people of Mongolia. Head of State of Mongolia emphasized that there were many opportunities for the athletes and coaches of the national teams if they remain united, hardworking, and disciplined, and wished them success in future competitions.
President of the Mongolian Basketball Association Battsengel Gotov highlighted that the Mongolian National Teams have set a standard in 3x3 basketball in Asia, solidifying their status as formidable teams in Asia. Mr. Battsengel informed that the National 3x3 Basketball Teams would participate in their first Olympic qualifying tournament in Hong Kong, China, on April 12-14, 2024.
Also, the President of the Mongolian Basketball Association introduced the Association’s plan to host the FIBA 3x3 World Youth Basketball Championships this year and the FIBA 3x3 Adult World Championships next year in Mongolia.
