Ulaanbaatar, April 1, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Summary of events for the week of April 1-7, 2024.
In Ulaanbaatar:
April 1: There will be a meeting of parties and groups of the State Great Khural.
April 1: “Uchir, Khachir, Nachir” Caricature Exhibition will be displayed at the Zaisan Hill Complex.
April 2: The “Heavenly Khutagt” Ballet, created with an aim at spreading the heritage of Noyon Khutugt Dulduit born 220 years ago, will be staged at the Corporate Hotel and Convention Center.
April 2: A journalists' meeting will be organized by the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Association on sustainable development, international trends of sustainable financing, and their implementation in Mongolia.
April 2, 3: Standing Committee sessions of the State Great Khural will be held at the State Palace.
April 3: The Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will partner with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to offer consulting services on business loans and financing.
April 3: The regular meeting of the Cabinet will be held at the State Palace.
April 4: At the Cultural Center of Mongolia, the best works of Mongolian composers and newly arranged musical works will be performed.
April 4, 5: A Plenary Session of the State Great Khural of Mongolia will be held at the State Palace.
April 5: The Mongolian Philharmonic Orchestra will stage a concert featuring orchestral works by Felix Mendelssohn, the genius composer of the Romantic era.
April 6, 7: The State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre of Mongolia will stage a “Spartacus” Ballet by Aram Khachaturian.
From April 1, the Transportation Section of the Zamiin-Uud border port will operate 24 hours a day.
The "World Circus in Mongolia" international circus performance is taking place at AIC Steppe Arena.
Local events:
April 1-5: The “April First” Caricature Exhibition by R. Gal-Od, Cultural Merit Laureate of Mongolia and Member of the Union of Mongolian Artists, will be displayed at the “Training and Research Center of Museum” of Dornogobi aimag.
April 2: The regular XXI session of the Selenge Aimag Citizens' Representatives Khural will be held.
April 4, 5: Selenge aimag will host the “Pure Brightness Day” Spring Event at the “Eej Mod” [Mother Tree].
April 5, 6: An International Education Fair will be held in Sainshand soum, Dornogobi aimag.
Under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, the National Futsal Championship continues in Kharkhorin soum of Uvurkhangai aimag.
"Vansemberuu" Calligraphy Competition organized by the Central Library named after Yavuukhulan Begz, one of the finest Mongolian poets, will continue in Zavkhan aimag.
