President of Mongolia Meets Mongolian Students in Laos

Vientiane, November 8, 2023 /MONTSAME/. On November 7, 2023, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, who paid a State Visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic, met with Mongolian students studying in the Lao PDR at the Embassy of Mongolia to the Lao PDR.
Upon arrival at the Embassy, President Khurelsukh was greeted by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Lao PDR, J. Byambasuren, who briefly introduced the activities of the Embassy.
Twenty Mongolian students are currently pursuing their studies at Universities of the Lao PDR, with six of them being recipients of the "President's Scholar - 2100" scholarship program initiated by the President of Mongolia.
At the Meeting, the President of Mongolia highlighted the pressing need for skilled professionals proficient in Laotian to foster and expand Mongolian-Laotian relations and cooperation. President Khurelsukh also stressed that the State Visit of the President of Mongolia to the Lao PDR marks a new chapter in bilateral ties for the next six decades and expressed confidence that Mongolian graduates from the Lao PDR universities will play a pivotal role in shaping bilateral cooperation over the next 60 years.
The Head of State of Mongolia encouraged the students to be friendly and to study diligently, wishing them success.
