Regional culture ministers hold consultative meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Culture Ch.Nomin participated in the virtual consultative meeting on UNESCO Asia and the Pacific region's culture policy or regional ministers of culture held on January 11-12 to make a statement on the Mongolian government’s stance.

The meeting chaired by Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia Nadiem Makarim discussed national and regional cultural policy trends and challenges as well as principal areas of cultural policy.

The outcomes of the consultative meeting will be presented and discussed at the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development to be hosted by Mexico in September 2022.
