Snowfall and cold snap on the way

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A significant amount of snowfall and emperature drops are expected in most parts of the country from tomorrow on October 8.
Precipitation is expected in some parts of western aimags, in most parts of central aimags, and western parts of Gobi and eastern aimags on October 8, in eastern parts of western aimags, and in most parts of central, Gobi, and eastern aimags on October 9, with snowfall and blizzard expected in some parts of the eastern region on October 10.
Wind speed will be 18-20 m/sec, reaching 24 m/sec in most parts of the country on October 8.
In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentii, near Khurenbelchir, in the head of Zavkhan river, and in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the temperature will range from -11 to -16 degrees Celsius during the night, and 0 to -5 during the day.
In the southern Gobi region, the night-time temperature will be -2 to +3 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +7 to +12 degrees Celsius.
In other areas, temperatures are expected to be -4 to -9 during the night, and -2 to +3 during the day.
