Memory athletes prevail in Macau

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ National team of memory athletes became champions at the World Memory Tour-Macau held on August 23-25 in Macau, special administrative region of China.

More than 90 athletes of six countries competed for two days and Mongolian team of 12 memory athletes claimed 58 medals of total 80 medals. Our athletes won 14 gold, 20 silver and 23 bronze medals. Athlete of Mongolian Intellectual Academy E.Purevjav won first place with 6588 points in ten disciplines, while national athlete B.Lkhagvadorj won second place with his cumulative score in all disciplines. 


Junior athletes B.Enkhbayasgalan and Ts.Emujin won second and third places in their age category, while A.Doljin and B.Enkhluun won first and third places in the kids category respectively. Young athlete B.Jambalbaranyam set a new world record, memorizing and recalling 330 images in five minutes.


Athletes of Mongolian Intellectual Academy successfully participated in their 54th international competition, setting new records and continuously increasing the number of medals which is now 937.
