Spring cold to ease this week

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring informed that the temperature will recover back at the end of this week.
Precipitation and sleet are expected in areas of western and central aimags, in northern parts of gobi aimags on April 12, in eastern half of the country on April 13, in eastern parts of eastern aimags on April 14.
Wind will blow in most of the country on April 11, in gobi and prairie areas on April 13-14, reaching 16-18m/sec. Occasional dust and snow storms will occur.
Temperature will drop temporarily in most of the country on April 12 and in eastern half of the country on April 13.
In the depression of Darkhad and in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -10-15 degrees Celsuis and the daytime high will be -1-6 degrees Celsuis.
In the depression of Uvs lake, in the head of Zavkhan river and in the basin of Khuren belchir, in the mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentii, high of the day will be -3 to +2 degrees Celsius and the nighttime temperature will be -6 to -11 degrees Celsuis.
In Gobi Desert and in southern parts of gobi region, the nighttime temperature will be -1 to +4 degrees Celsuis, and the daytime temperature will make it to +14 degrees Celsuis.
In other regions, the nighttime temperature will be between -3 and -8 degrees Celsuis, and the daytime temperature will be +3 to +8 degrees Celsuis.
