Ambassador of Vietnam presents credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ms Doan Thi Huong, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia presented Friday her diplomatic credentials to Mr Kh.Battulga, the President of Mongolia, in the State House.
The President received the Ambassador after the ceremony.

Ms Doan Thi Huong conveyed to the President a congratulatory letter on being elected as the new President of Mongolia from Tran Dại Quang, the President of Vietnam.

Mr Battulga thanked his Vietnamese counterpart for the letter, and congratulated Ms Doan Thi Huong on being appointed as the Ambassador to Mongolia. The President said governmental organizations will support works of the new Ambassador.

The President recalled his visit to Vietnam during serving as the Minister of Agriculture and Industry, starting specific works for the bilateral ties and cooperation.

At the meeting, the Ambassador emphasized that Vietnamese people always remember the support and assistance rendered by the Mongolian government and people, which were rendered in difficult times of the Vietnam War.

Present at the meeting were Ts.Munkh-Orgil, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; Z.Enkhbold, head of the Presidential Office; and other officials.
