Political consultation between Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Germany held

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On June 14, political consultation meeting between the Ministries for Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Germany took place in Ulaanbaatar. The meeting was led by D.Davaasuren, State Secretary of the Foreign Ministry of Mongolia and Mr. Norbert Riedel, Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
During the meeting, which is a consultative mechanism between Mongolian and German ministries in charge of foreign affairs, the two sides exchanged views about the current level of bilateral cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, defense and education, regional and international issues of mutual concern as well as measures to be implemented in the future.
In particular, the sides expressed their willingness to fulfill intergovernmental negotiations of partnership development policy held in 2016 in Berlin and proposals brought forward by the two sides during the 5th working group meeting to ensure implementation of an agreement of mineral, industrial and technological cooperation and to strive for successfully realizing the projects with funding from Germany.
