Hard Coal Exports Fall 1.4 Percent

Ulaanbaatar, November 11, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s hard coal exports reached 65 million tonnes in the first ten months of 2025, down 1.4 percent compared to the same period last year, the Mongolian Customs General Administration reported.


During this period, 100 percent of exports of lead ore and concentrates, iron ore, zinc concentrates, crude oil, and hard coal were shipped to the People’s Republic of China, along with 99.9 percent of copper concentrates and 82.9 percent of combed cashmere. These commodities accounted for 81.7 percent of Mongolia’s total export value.
