Mongolian Veteran Judokas Win 13 Medals at Judo Masters World Championships

Ulaanbaatar, November 10, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian veteran judokas claimed three silver and ten bronze medals at the Judo Masters World Championships held in Paris, France, from November 3-7, 2025.
More than 2,300 athletes from
64 countries competed across seven age categories. Mongolia ranked 32nd overall
in the team standings with its 13 medals. The men’s team won one silver and six
bronze medals across six age divisions, while the women’s team took two silver
and three bronze medals.
The silver medalists were Ariunzul Sainbayar in the F1 -78 kg
category, Bayarmaa Legden
in the F5 +78 kg division, and
Batsukh Gelgee in the M6 -81 kg category.
France topped the overall medal table with 26 gold, 35 silver, and 68 bronze medals, followed by Brazil, Germany, Georgia, and Italy. Out of the 66 participating nations, 52 earned medals, with 31 countries securing at least one gold.
