Government Declares 2027 as Year of Health Promotion

Ulaanbaatar, November 6, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the regular session of the Cabinet of Mongolia on November 5, 2025, Minister of Health Chinburen Jigjidsuren announced at the State Palace that 2027 has been declared the Year of Health Promotion.
The designation aims to implement the “Healthy Mongolian” objective outlined in the Government’s 2024-2028 Action Program and strengthen the country’s public health system. Government members, as well as governors of aimags and the Capital City, have been instructed to ensure the implementation of all activities promoting health and to provide full support.
Relevant
ministers have also been tasked to provide unified nationwide management of
these initiatives, secure necessary funding in the draft 2027 state budget, and
ensure coordination across sectors.
