Standing Committee Members Meets Czech Senate Deputy Speaker Jitka Seitlová

/MONTSAME/. Members of
the Standing Committee on Environment, Food, and Agriculture of the State Great
Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia met with Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the
Czech Republic, Jitka Seitlová, on October 13, 2025.
At the beginning of the meeting, Member
of Parliament Gankhuleg Munguntsog expressed pleasure to meet the delegates led
by Jitka Seitlová and highlighted the historically friendly bilateral relations
that have reached a Comprehensive Partnership. M. Gankhuleg noted that the
State Visit paid by the President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, to the Czech
Republic was fruitful as it has enriched cooperation between the two countries
with social and economic content, contributed greatly to expanding
collaboration in multiple sectors, and defined future goals and objectives of
cooperation in the fields of environmental protection and light industry.
Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the
Czech Republic, Jitka Seitlová, expressed her pleasure at visiting Mongolia
within the framework of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
relations between the two countries, mentioning past active cooperation between
the legislative bodies, parliamentary groups, and secretariat offices of the
two countries.
Member of Parliament Zoljargal
Jargalsaikhan expressed appreciation for the successful joint implementation of
numerous projects within the framework of bilateral cooperation, including
research on Mongolia’s forest resources, forest cover mapping, protection and
sustainable use of water resources, expansion of protected area networks,
reintroduction of Przewalski’s horses, development of intensive livestock
farming to increase meat exports, advancement of the dairy industry, and
strengthening of human resources in the light industry sector.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on effective cooperation in the fields of environment, food, and agriculture, as well as on the research, protection, and reintroduction of critically endangered species such as the Mazaalai bear and the wild Bactrian camel.
