Government to Develop Unified ‘E-Business’ Platform for Enterprises
Economy
Ulaanbaatar, September 11, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications will develop the ‘E-Business.mn’ platform, a unified electronic database for state services aimed at enterprises.
The project will be led by Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications Batshugar Enkhbayar, who will chair a sub-working group overseeing its implementation. The platform aims to integrate all government services related to enterprises operating in Mongolia and implement a ‘single-window’ policy for foreign trade.
The working group ‘Enhancing Exports and
Supporting Trade,’ led by First
Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia and Minister of Economy and Development
Uchral Nyam-Osor, continues efforts to improve the business environment
by digitizing licensing and other procedures. As part of efforts to abolish
regulations exceeding the law and to digitize the licensing process, 59
regulations have been revoked. Of the 371 licenses in the unified ‘license.mn’
database, 321 can now be obtained electronically. Furthermore, by amending
customs control procedures, the working group supporting exports has moved
approximately 70 licenses required by 24 agencies for importing goods into the
electronic system.
These measures eliminate the need for citizens and enterprises to notarize
documents when submitting information to the government, among other
advantages. Ministries and agencies that are part of the unified licensing
system but fail to issue electronic permits will receive timed instructions and
requirements from the First Deputy PM to ensure compliance.
