5.0 magnitude earthquake recorded in Umnugobi aimag

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A 5.0 magnitude earthquake occurred in a place called “Sevkh-Uul” in Tost bag (smallest administration unit), 96 km northwest from Gurvantes soum of Umnugobi aimag at 10:28 AM of July 20.
The Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics sent information about the earthquake to the National Emergency Management Agency through an email.
Residents of Urt bag of the soum felt the tremor and no casualties and injuries have been recorded, Head of Secretariat of Governor’s Office of Gurvantes soum Ts.Delgermaa informed.
