Views exchanged on reducing overexploitation of natural resources

Khovd/MONTSAME/. A project ‘Supporting Protected Areas for
the Conservation of Ecosystem Services’ (SPACES) is under implementation in
Khovd aimag within the collaboration of the Ministry of Environment and
Tourism, Governor Office of Khovd aimag and GIZ.
On April 16, the project’s local development expert and
relevant specialists held a meeting with Governor of Khovd aimag
B.Dugerjav.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the issues
to be focused on developing local tourism and increasing tourists to travel
Khovd aimag as well as how to support livelihoods of those who live in the territory of the protected areas and buffer zones by a way of reducing the overexploitation
of natural resources.
