Earthquake hits Tonkhil soum again

Gobi-Altai/MONTSAME/. Today morning at 06:47:40, a 4.5
magnitude earthquake struck Tonkhil soum of Gobi-Altai aimag, followed by a few
aftershocks. An epicenter of the quake was 30 km south of the center of Tonkhil
soum, reported ‘Altai’ branch of the Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics.
Since January this year, it has been the fifth earthquake
recorded in Tonkhil soum. Just a few days ago, or on March 24, four quakes
ranging in 3.6-5.8 magnitudes occurred in the soum.
