CO detectors began distributed together with its instruction

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Head of Special Inspection Authority of the Capital City S.Davaasuren and Head of Environment Monitoring Department of the National Agency of Metrology and Environment Monitoring J.Batbayar previously reported that the Governor’s Office is working to provide households living in ger districts with carbon monoxide (CO) detectors within January 10.
CO detectors started to be distributed from yesterday, January 6 to the citizens
through khoroos where they live. 50
thousand pieces of CO detectors have been received in the first shift out of
170 thousand pieces to be purchased from China. It costs MNT 3.5 billion in
total. CO detector gives signal when carbon
monoxide level surpasses 50 mkr gr.
Since CO detectors will be distributed to risky homes and families with many children for starter, Governor of the Capital City S.Amarsaikhan obliged corresponding officials to make comprehensive study on households and promptly provide pamphlet for the use of CO detectors.
