B.Zoljargal becomes UIAA Vice President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The General Assembly of the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation (UIAA) was held in Larnaca, Cyprus on November 2.
Delegates of the Mongolian National Climbing Federation (MNCF) including President
B.Tulga, Vice President B.Zoljargal and Member of Ice Climbing Committee G.Batbayar took part in the assembly.
At the General Assembly, key decisions have been made concerning UIAA’s role, its activities and budget and elections were held. This year, three of the seven UIAA Executive Board members were replaced with nominees from Mongolia, Iran, and Belgium. The new board held its first meeting on November 3 and MNCF Vice President B.Zoljargal was appointed as UIAA Vice President.
