Western ecological research center to be built in Khovd

Khovd /MONTSAME/
This year, the Western Ecological Research Center will be established in the
Khar Us Lake national park under the Local Development Support project of the Ministry
of Education, Culture, Science and Sports with funding from the Asian
Development Bank.
The
center will be set up under the Khovd University and will be used doing
comprehensive researches in various fields including environment, water quality and resources,
water and rangeland use, climate, geography-geomorphology, and biodiversity.
The
establishment of the center will provide an opportunity to create economic stability
through observing and studying natural evolution and changes in the western region.
