Mongolia to collaborate with Russia and China in protection of white-naped crane

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Six environmental organizations
of Mongolia, Russia and China signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on protection
of white-naped cranes last week in Nanchang, China.
The white-naped crane migrates between the three countries. Specifically,
the bird summers in Mongolia and spends winter in China while its nesting site is
located in Russia. Thus, scholars of the countries agreed to exchange information
collected during the crane’s stay in their respective countries.
