Mongolian teams claim bronze medals

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Two Mongolian 3x3 basketball teams won bronze medals at international tournaments.
Specifically, Mongolian men's team grabbed a bronze medal in the FIBA Asia Quest Final 2018 held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
After being selected in the semifinal by getting three wins in its pool, the Mongolian team was lost to Japan but defeated Kazakhstan for bronze medal game.
Additionally, G.Tsenguunbayar and E.Chimeddolgor became winners of shoot-out contest.
In the FIBA 3x3 U18 Asia Cup 2018, Mongolian U18 men’s team led their pool by scoring a total of six wins. They scored one lose and one win in the knock-out stage, and lastly, played against Qatar, winning with 21-15. G.Gan-Erdene, who showed stable performance during the cup, was named one of the top three players.
