Annual PMI conference 2017 held

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The fourth international conference and workshop entitled 'Advancing Project Management for National Development' was held in the Best Western Premier Tuushin Hotel on October 6-7.

Organized by PMI Mongolia Chapter non-governmental organization, the annual conference discussed important issues for the national development, such as, Project Risk Management, Strategic Role of Megaprojects in Frontier Market Development, Case Studies, National wide health project and its project time management, new airport project and Schedule delay analysis in Mining and O&G projects.

Keynote speeches were given by N.Battulga, President of PMI Mongolia Chapter NGO, U.Ganzorig, CEO of Golomt Bank, Kh.Bulgantuya, Deputy Minister of Finance, Ts.Tumentsogt, CEO of Erdenes Mongol LLC, and Michel Charron, Project Director at Oyu Tolgoi JSC.

The PMI is the world’s largest non-profit association for project managers, with over 700,000 members and credential holders in over 190 countries. The PMI Mongolia Chapter® is a local chapter officially chartered by PMI®, and is aimed to support the project management community based in Mongolia.
