O.Enkhtsetseg represents her country at UNGA Second Committee meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Director of the Foreign Ministry Department of Multilateral Cooperation O.Enkhtsetseg participated in a plenary meeting of the UN General Assembly’s Economic and Financial Committee (Second Committee) held on October 9 in frames of the 72nd Session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the USA.
At the plenary meeting, where attendees discussed issues of combating the climate change, disaster risks and desertification, O.Enkhtsetseg presented implementation of the Mongolian Sustainable Development Vision-2030, the Governmental Policy and Actions, laws, regulations and a national program on reducing disaster risks.
Member states of the UN introduced ongoing measures in their countries for ensuring the sustainable development and expressed their position regarding the issues.
