Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ G.Ganbayar, one of the four Mongolian athletes who went to Hungary to study at The Ferenc Puskas Football Academy in 2016, is participating in the 10th “Puskas-Suzuki Cup”, which is taking place between June 2 and 5, as a member of Puskas Akademia FC.

Mongolian four leading junior football players, namely B.Amgalanbat, O.Khantenger, D.Temuulen and G.Ganbayar were the first Mongolians to study abroad for the longest time as a football player. From them, G.Ganbayar has joined “Puskas-Suzuki Cup” with the world’s leading junior football players in the Puskas Akademia’s home stadium, Pancho Arena. The world’s leading teams, such as FC Bayern Munich Junior and Real Madrid Juvenile teams, were invited to the under-17 association football tournament.

Previously, Mongolian Football Association informed that there’s a high chance for G.Ganbayar to be included in the match against Bayern Munich. Puskás Academy, during their match against Bayern Munich on last Friday, took initiative from the very first seconds and kept the game with no goal in the first half. Mongolian athlete G.Ganbayar was brought in from the bench in the 72th minute, marking the historical moment as the first Mongolian to participate in a world-class football tournament. The team brought an important win in the 79th minute when Timári shook off his defender in the middle and sent a screamer into the bottom right-hand corner.
