Tourism partnership to further expand with Japan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On March 1, Minister of Environment and Tourism N.Urtnasan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Kobayashi Hiroyuki to exchange views on partnership, especially in increasing forest areas and expanding partnership in tourism.

 

Highlighting that the policy consultation meeting organized between the Environment Ministries of Mongolia and Japan has become a model mechanism for cooperation for other sectors, Minister N.Urtnasan expressed confidence in further expansion of partnership in protecting the environment and reducing environmental pollution. 

 

In response, Ambassador Kobayashi Hiroyuki noted the results yielded from the many years of partnership between the Government of Japan and the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, and expressed his support in resolving the pressing issues for the environment and tourism sector.
