4.1 and 4.4 magnitude earthquakes recorded in Umnugobi aimag

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A 4.4 magnitude earthquake occurred 86 km to the southeast of Nomgon soum’s center, in a place called Khukh Tolgoi in Bogt bag at 7:47 AM on February 23, reports the Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics.
On the same day at 9:40 AM, a place called Ulaan But, which is located 81 km to the southeast of Nomgon soum’s center, was struck by a 4.1 magnitude quake. The tremor was felt in Nomgon soum.
