Permanent Representative to UN meets CTBTO Executive Secretary

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations (Vienna) G.Battungalag yesterday held a meeting with Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) Robert Floyd, who was elected as the Executive Secretary in May and took office on August 1.
At the outset of the meeting, Permanent Representative G.Battungalag presented the congratulatory letter from Mongolian Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg on being elected as the Executive Secretary and assuming office.
During the meeting, the Permanent Representative put forth a
request to support the employment of Mongolian experts at the CTBTO. Moreover,
the meeting touched on the possibilities to increase Mongolian youth engagement
in the ‘Youth Group’ initiative of the CTBTO.
