Enkhriilen Secures Mongolia's Second Silver Medal at Abu Dhabi Grand Slam

Ulaanbaatar, November 29, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam judo tournament, double World Championships bronze medalist and national team member, Honored Athlete Enkhriilen Lhagvatogoo claimed a silver medal, after losing by ippon to Japan’s Megu Danno in the women’s 63 kg final.
This marks Enkhriilen’s sixth Grand Slam medal. According to the Physical Education and Sports Authority, Team Mongolia now ranks seventh among 52 participating nations with two silver medals. World Championships silver medalist Ariunbold Enkhtaivan also earned a silver medal at the tournament.

The Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, taking place from November 28–30, has brought together 373 athletes from 52 countries. Mongolia is represented by 15 judokas under the guidance of coaches P. Nyamlkhagva and Ch. Boldbaatar.
