Ulaanbaatar Declares 2026 as ‘Year of Supporting Entrepreneurs’

Ulaanbaatar, January 8, 2026 /MONTSAME/. The Capital city has declared 2026 as the “Year of Supporting Entrepreneurs” and will provide comprehensive support to business owners, the Governor of the Capital, and the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, Nyambaatar Khishgee announced.


He stated, “The capital declared 2025 as the Year of Development and launched many major projects. We have now declared 2026 as the “Year of Supporting Entrepreneurs” and will fully support our business community. By supporting national producers, small and medium-sized enterprises, and developers, we can grow together. Support will extend to all entrepreneurs, from neighborhood grocery stores to large-scale enterprises.”


Within the framework of the “Year of Supporting Entrepreneurs,” the city plans to first reform the approach of institutions responsible for issuing permits and documents, as well as organizations providing electricity, water, and heat supply, by reducing bureaucratic layers and streamlining procedures.
