Ulaanbaatar, March 18, 2025 /MONTSAME/. In accordance with the Law on Political Parties, political parties are required to submit their year-end financial reports to the General Election Commission of Mongolia (GEC) by February 10, 2025. Among the 37 political parties registered with the Supreme Court of Mongolia, 27 have submitted their annual financial reports within the legally mandated time frame.
As stipulated in the Law on Political Parties, a three-stage review process is applied to party financial reports. In line with this process, independent auditing entities have completed their assessments of the 27 parties’ year-end financial reports by March 15.
The General Election Commission is currently reviewing these financial reports along with the auditors’ conclusions to determine their compliance with legal requirements. The GEC will then submit the reports to the Mongolian National Audit Office by April 5, 2025.
