Consultative Meeting Held Between the Foreign Ministries of Mongolia and Uzbekistan

Ulaanbaatar, May 8, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The 6th Consultative Meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Uzbekistan was held on May 7, 2024, in Ulaanbaatar. The Meeting was co-chaired by Amartuvshin Gombosuren, Deputy Foreign Minister of Mongolia, and B.M.Usmanov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan.
During the Consultative Meeting, the two sides exchanged views on strengthening and deepening the friendly relations between Mongolia and Uzbekistan, identifying prospects of cooperation, expanding collaboration in infrastructure, transport and logistics, agriculture, light industry, tourism, health and information technology, preparations on the upcoming high-level visit to be implemented in 2024 as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The Uzbek delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister B.M.Usmanov also plans to meet and discuss the bilateral cooperation with senior officials of the Ministry of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia, the Ministry of Culture of Mongolia, the Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries.
