President Khurelsukh Receives Indian Ambassador to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, November 15, 2023 /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia M.P.Singh upon the completion of his term in Mongolia on November 20, 2023. 

 

President Khurelsukh noted that although Mongolia-India diplomatic relations are about 70 years old, the people of the two countries have longstanding historical, cultural, and religious ties.  President Khurelsukh expressed his satisfaction with the deepening of the Strategic Partnership relations between Mongolia and India, a spiritual neighbor of Mongolia. The President of Mongolia commended the Ambassador's substantial contribution during his tenure in Mongolia to expanding Strategic Partnership relations, strengthening political ties between the two countries at a high level, and translating into reality major programs and projects that would be etched into the history of cooperation of the two countries. 

 

Ambassador M.P. Singh expressed his pleasure at his participation in the development of bilateral cooperation in the security, defense, mining, digital communication, education, culture, and humanitarian sectors. The Ambassador expressed his commitment to strengthening friendly relations between Mongolia and India, particularly to ensuring the timely completion of the Mongolian Oil Refinery Plant project. 

 

Since taking office in 2019 as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary for the Republic of India to Mongolia, M.P. Singh has made a significant contribution, including the donation of the COVID-19 vaccine from India to Mongolia, the establishment of a Cyber Security Training Center, an IT Education and Outsourcing Center and the Mongolia-India Friendship Secondary School with Indian Grant Aid.
