Meeting held with Economy Minister of Luxembourg

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mr. B.Munkhjin, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia held a meeting with Mr. Franz Fayot, the Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs and Minister of the Economy of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on July 26.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and cooperation. Deputy Minister B.Munkhjin expressed Mongolia’s appreciation to the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for its development assistance extended to the health sector for the past 21 years.
Within the framework of the development assistance program, the Government of
the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg has been implementing a number of projects since
2001 which play an important role in reducing and preventing cardiovascular
diseases in Mongolia, as well as capacity building of specialized
cardiologists.
Mr. Franz Fayot is paying an official visit to Mongolia on July
26-31, 2022.
