MP B.Battumur visits Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolian delegates led by MP and head
of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy B.Battumur
visited the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on June 17.
The Mongolian delegation held a meeting with Luxembourg's
delegates led by President of the Chamber of Deputies Fernand Etgen
to exchange views on intensifying inter-parliamentary cooperation and expanding
relations and cooperation between two countries.
During the meeting, MP Battumur noted the valuable
contribution of the Luxembourg’s Government to strengthening the Mongolia’s healthcare
sector’s capacity of cardiovascular disease treatment, and expressed pleasure for
the upcoming celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Luxembourg’s
development assistance in July 2022.
He also expressed willingness to deepen cooperation with
Luxembourg in developing a sustainable economy, particularly in the banking,
finance, intensified agriculture and tourism sectors, and had an exchange of
detailed views.
Emphasizing Mongolia’s contribution to the protection of
common values such as democracy, human rights and the rule of law, Mr. Etgen
congratulated Mongolia on the 30th anniversary of the adoption of its
democratic Constitution. He also expressed commitment to the development of
cooperation between legislative organizations of the two countries and said he
would support Mongolia within the framework of the international community.
