Business Incubator Program for women entrepreneurs launched

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The Asia Foundation`s Women’s Economic Empowerment Project in Mongolia, funded by Canada’s Foreign Policy - Global Affairs Canada, launched the sixth cohort of Business Incubator program for women entrepreneurs on December 23, 2021. Business Incubator Program is a flagship program of the Foundation`s Women`s Business Center (WBC), which provides comprehensive training, personalized mentorship, and various networking activities required to start and scale-up women entrepreneurs’ businesses. The Program will last throughout eight months of the entrepreneurial journey that has been implemented in partnership with Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Golomt Bank, and Ganabell Institute of Success.
Over 130 WBC clients applied for the Business Incubator
program, and 25 women were selected for the Pre-Incubator program, and ten 10
clients have been selected for the Business Incubator program. Finalists
include women entrepreneurs operating in the production of leather goods, meat
and meat products, vegetables and fruit products, clothing and baby goods,
agriculture, tourism, pre-school education, pregnancy education and healthcare
service, creative design, and image-making consultation from Ulaanbaatar and
Arkhangai, Selenge province.
