Protocol of the 17th meeting of Mongolia-Russia joint commission signedSociety
Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The 17th
meeting of Mongolia-Russia joint commission which is responsible for
implementing intergovernmental agreement on “Cooperation in industrial accident
and natural disaster prevention and elimination of consequences’ concluded
yesterday, with signing of a Protocol.
The joint meeting was attended by Mongolian and Russian emergency management representatives headed by Brigadier-General G.Ariunbuyan, Deputy Chief of National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia, and by Ilya Pavlovich Denisov, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Affairs of Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters.
At the meeting, the sides agreed to establish cooperation agreement between Emergency Management and Warning Center of NEMA and National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry for Affairs for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters, Russian Federation.
Furthermore, they exchanged views on co-implementing a project ‘Refurbishment of emergency management and warning centers of five regions and improvement of fire-fighting equipment’.
