Bhutanese Minister of Home and Cultural Affairs welcomed
PoliticsUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Head
of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene today met
with Bhutanese delegates led by Minister for Home and Cultural Affairs Dasho
Sherub Gyeltshen.
At the meeting, Mr.
Oyun-Erdene said that Mongolian government is implementing three-pillared
policy on recovery of economy, public service reform and citizen-centered state
policy. Within this framework, the government is paying much attention on
decentralization, establishment of satellite cities and equal access to public
services, he added.
“The visit of Bhutanese
delegation to Mongolia is special as it overlaps with the country’s
historic events such as Mongolian government’s launching a substantial work to
formulate the country’s long-term development program and the Constitutional
amendment being currently under Parliamentary consideration,” said Mr.
Oyun-Erdene.
At the meeting, the sides
touched upon some examples of bilateral historical relations and similarities
and differences between the two countries and had a same opinion that there are
a lot to learn from each other.
Noting there are a lot to study from Mongolia, Bhutanese Minister Sherub Gyeltshen conveyed greetings of the King of Bhutan. He also introduced in detail about Bhutan’s present economic situation and characteristics of nature, religion and culture.
Bhutanese delegates led by
Minister for Home and Cultural Affairs Dasho Sherub Gyeltshen are to get familiarized and study experience from the activities of ‘Integrated public service
center’ in Ulaanbaatar and Tuv aimag.
