Mongolian President Kh.Battulga meets Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga met with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin at the State House ahead of the official talks of Mongolia and Russia. 


The tête-à-tête meeting began with the Mongolian President remarked about the exciting aerial show performed by the aerobatic demonstration team ‘Russian Knights’ of the Russian Air Force held last week in Ulaanbaatar. 


In turn, the Russian President noted that the Mongolian-Russian joint celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Khalkhiin Gol Battles is a proof of the friendly friendship between the two countries.  Russian President Vladimir Putin further noted that the peoples of Mongolia and Russia have a deep relationship of brothers in arms thanks to the enormous support given by Russia during the Battles of the Khalkhiin Gol and by Mongolian people to the Soviet Union during the Second World War as well as mutual supports for each other after the war. 


At the meeting lasted three times longer than planned, presidents of Mongolia and Russia reached a common position on the Mongolian-Russian Treaty on the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for an indefinite term and agreed on bilateral agreements signed after the official talks.
