India to collaborate in empowering civil servants

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Governor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar city and the Local Governance Initiative and Network (LOGIN) of India agreed to collaborate in empowering civil servants and formulating training program. Within the framework of it, authorities of the Civil Service Council of Mongolia held meeting with delegations from the organization on February 24.   

Rendering uncomplicated, prompt and fair civil service to the citizens depends on civil servants’ skills and qualification. Therefore, it necessitates to retrain and improve civil servants’ ability. 
 
The work will base on need of civil servants in capital city. The program will be framed satisfying their need, studying what ability, practice and trainings are required for civil servants in regard with increase of urban centralization, Preta Lall, team leader of the LOGIN said.

LOGIN is a network of participant organizations of East Asian countries for decentralization and local governance.
