Ulaanbaatar,/MONTSAME/ The governmental working group led by the Deputy Premier M.Enkhbold met on last Friday, and received reports from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the City's Health Department on works performed against spread of the A/H1N1 swine flu virus. According to the reports, preparation of lessons of the secondary and high schools has been completed. The short vacation of schools will begin November 23. 108 state-owned schools received automatic thermometers, 20 thousand medical masks and 50,140 "Sanitol"--antibacterial hand sanitizers. Moreover, the schools have taken measures of disinfection. After making active the inter-city transportation, some 1,000 passengers have been transported by train, and 733 passengers--by bus from November 19. The "Ulaanbaatar railways" company has granted 30 automatic thermometers to its stuffers, and has taken measures for combating against spread of the virus. The Ministry of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development has decided to provide 11 local airports with automatic thermometers. In accordance with an order of the City's Mayor, the City's Emergency Commission is conducting examinations over situation of sanitation and disinfection works in organizations of education, health, arts, trade, service and transportation.
