Ulaanbaatar, /MONTSAME/ In frames of the "Loans for citizens" project implemented in the city, 283 people were granted with loans between 2008 and 2009. This project is pursuing a policy to support those who want to buy apartments through loans.
                In the scope of the governmental resolution issued last month, a resolution on housing loan (mortgage) has been drawn up. Furthermore, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Road, Transportation, Construction and Urban Development have made the resolution ready for the City's Mayor approval.
                In accordance with an introduction from the Housing Finance Corporation (HFC), a borrower-participant of the "40 thousand apartments" is allowed to take out a loan of up to MNT 40 million after having paid at least 10 per cent of advance, but is obliged to work fo the state budgetary institution for three years at least.
